Väderstad Tempo L Seeders

Väderstad has introduced its line of high-speed precision seeders, the Tempo L series, which can be equipped with a large-capacity central hopper. From this hopper, seeds and fertilizers are delivered directly to the seeding sections.

It is noted that the Tempo L Central Fill precision seeders are currently available with the possibility of seeding in 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 24, or 32 rows with row spacing ranging from 350 to 800 mm (most models have the ability to adjust the row spacing).

The models designed solely for seed sowing are equipped with a 3000-liter central hopper, while the models for both seed sowing and fertilizer application have a 7200-liter hopper, divided into two compartments: 2200 liters for seeds and 5000 liters for fertilizers. For larger models, such as the Tempo L Central Fill with 16 and 24 rows, there is the possibility of equipping with a seed and fertilizer metering system. Fertilizers are metered using the high-performance Fenix III system, with a fertilizer rate of up to 350 kg/ha at a speed of 15 km/h.

"The centralized seed filling system for the seeding sections operates under air pressure without the use of specialized metering devices. This significantly simplifies the seeder's design and ensures gentle handling of the seeds. Thanks to the centralized filling of the hopper and the delivery of seeds and fertilizers to the seeding sections, farmers can save valuable time and increase productivity," Väderstad reported.

Additionally, the official Väderstad website states that the Tempo L is distinguished by its high sowing accuracy at high speeds, allowing optimal seed distribution even when working at speeds of up to 18 km/h. This is achieved thanks to the unique PowerShoot technology, which ensures precise seed placement in the soil regardless of field conditions.
