RAUCH — 100 Years of German Precision in Agricultural Machinery
As part of a factory tour supported by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, we visited the RAUCH plant — a family-owned company with a 100-year history. It was a unique opportunity to see how modern agricultural machinery is manufactured in Germany, blending tradition with innovation.
History of RAUCH
RAUCH Landmaschinenfabrik GmbH was founded in 1921 by blacksmith Franz Rauch. For over a century, the company has specialized in technology for precise application of materials: mineral fertilizers, seeds, lime, and de-icing agents. Today, RAUCH exports to over 40 countries and remains a family-run business, now in its fifth generation.
RAUCH Product Range
The company focuses on three main areas:
- Fertilizer spreaders — the flagship category, including disc, pneumatic, and hopper models. Popular series: MDS, AXIS, AXENT, UKS, AERO.
- Seed drills — provide precise seed placement with full depth and spacing control (Spare parts for seeders).
- Winter maintenance equipment — models like SA, AXEO, and TAXON for spreading salt and sand.
