LEMKEN is expanding its Rubin disc harrow product range with the addition of a new model with a working width of 10 meters. This harrow has the same symmetrical disc design as the smaller Rubin 10 to 7 meter models, which avoids lateral movement and reduces fuel consumption. The discs have a large diameter of 645 mm and can work at a depth of 7 cm. The harrow has received EU certification for transportation at speeds up to 40 km/h.
The new Rubin harrow is connected to the tractor with a ball or loop hitch. A hydraulic support post simplifies the coupling process. Two rows of hemispherical cutter discs with a distance of 14 cm between them ensure efficient cutting and do not clog with large amounts of crop residue. Each disk is equipped with an individual overload protection system with a soft return, which reduces the load on the frame.
The Rubin harrow has many other advantages. For example, the working sections are pendulum mounted for better ground tracking. For work on very uneven fields or on slopes, you can install the hydraulic leveling system "iQ-Contour" for optimal surface tracking. There is also a hydraulic depth adjustment system that can be changed during operation.

The harrow is turned on rollers with durable bearings. The rollers have a large bearing area and do not compact the soil at the headlands. The rollers also ensure a stable and safe ride on the road.
The Rubin harrow is folded from the tractor cab using the patented roller folding system. This system allows you to maintain a transport width of 3 meters and a height of 4 meters, as required by EU standards. The harrow does not require any additional carrier and can travel on the road at a speed of 40 km/h.
The Rubin 10/1000 is a new model that replaces the previous Gigant Rubin 9.
