Monosem has been using the concept of single-point disc sowing since 1989. This sowing system has long proven to be effective due to its low maintenance, versatility and precision. Sowing with double disc seeders improves seed quality and is optimal for working on large areas while reducing maintenance costs. This method of sowing is universal and suitable for working on any soil, regardless of the degree of preparation. Thus, sowing with the double discs is possible on soils with any kind of preparation, whether traditional or minimal.

1. Clod deflector or crop residue cleaner: The clod deflector or crop residue cleaner deflects the seed line by removing clods, stones or crop residue.
2. Double sowing discs: The double discs create a furrow to the preset depth using the support wheels.
3. V-shaped coulter: The coulter bar completes the base of the furrow for optimal seed placement.
4. Curved seed guide: The specially shaped curved seed guide carefully places the seed into the ground, ensuring an even distribution.
5. Adjustable open wheel unit: The open wheel unit, which consists of two angled wheels, closes the furrow around the seed for optimal germination.

1. Aluminum alloy housing: The die-cast housing of the seed drill is made of aluminum alloy and is not subject to deformation. Years will pass, but the seed drill will always remain as accurate as ever, regardless of temperature changes.
2. Anti-friction insert: The insert is always in contact with the disk. The insert can be changed to ensure a better seal.
3. Stainless steel discs: The 1.5 mm thick discs are made of stainless steel. A cutoff fixed to the disk reinforces the entire structure. The blades can be replaced without the use of tools. The company offers a wide range of discs for single grain distribution of any seed.
4. Cut-off: The bronze cut-off valve avoids double sowing. A spring on the cover of the metering unit presses the cut-off to the disc, ensuring optimum selection even when sowing small seeds.
5. Cover: The aluminum alloy cover is specially designed for economical seed distribution.
6. Inspection window: Easy access to the sowing unit simplifies adjustment and control. A large transparent window allows you to monitor the seed after it has passed the seed cutter.

Microsem system: Precision crop nutrition

The main task of the Microsem system is to provide nutrition and protection for the seeds. The placement of microgranules requires no less attention and precision than seed placement. The Microsem system with a screw conveyor ensures a constant supply of microgranules of insecticides, slug repellents or simply fertilizers. Placed as close to the seeds as possible, the microgranules protect them from pests and provide them with all the necessary nutrients for uniform emergence.

Fertilizer application system

Monosem offers solid fertilizer applicators in both standard and large capacity sizes, so you can choose what suits you best. The distribution system using screws and mixers ensures that the same amount of fertilizer is applied consistently. These stainless steel screws are available in different pitches to precisely adjust the required amount of fertilizer.

1. STANDARD HINGED FERTILIZER: Electrically or mechanically driven hoppers of various capacities are mounted on solid telescopic frames and allow for unprecedented precision over the entire cultivated area.
2. LARGE CAPACITY HOPPERS ARE INSTALLED. Choose the capacity that suits you! Our large capacity hoppers are equipped with a wide mouth and provide reliable distribution in a wide variety of conditions.
3. FERTILIZER ADJUSTMENT: The fertilizer rate is adjusted during sowing with a 12-step box.
4. FERTILIZER UNIT WITH COOLER OR DISKS. With a coulter: the coulter is removable. Double discs (can be reinforced). They are versatile and best suited for minimum tillage technology.
5. AUGER DISTRIBUTION. The distribution by means of an auger connected to the agitator ensures an even dosage of fertilizer. These stainless steel augers are available in different pitches to precisely adjust the required amount of fertilizer. The standard blue augers (A) allow you to apply 80 to 350 kg of fertilizer per hectare at a row spacing of 75 cm. High-performance augers in red (B) allow an application rate of 160 to 700 kg/ha at a row spacing of 75 cm.
6. ELECTRIC OR MECHANICAL DRIVE. The fertilization system on the NG Plus 4E is available with an electric drive.
