Thanks to the 325 mm diameter disk and plastic edge, the coulter does not require scrapers, which significantly reduces the cost of spare parts. In addition, the coulters are maintenance-free, which increases the overall reliability of the machine.

The CX-II coulters are capable of delivering up to 50 kg of pressure, which ensures stable operation even at high working speeds and in fields with a large amount of crop residue.

Adaptability to different conditions

The Kverneland Saterra can be adjusted to different sowing patterns. For example, the row spacing can be set to 12.5 cm or 25 cm, depending on the needs of the farm. This choice allows you to change the density of plantings and create favorable conditions for plant growth.

Sowing with a row spacing of 12.5 cm ensures quick row closure, reduces weed pressure and optimizes water and nutrient use. At the same time, the 25 cm row spacing contributes to a better microclimate on the field, which reduces the risk of fungal infections, reduces the need for seeds and simplifies work in high humidity conditions.

Pneumatic system

The central metal metering coil accurately measures the required amount of seed, which enters the Venturi cone, where it is mixed with the air flow and transported through the pipeline to the coulters. The distribution head is located inside the hopper, which provides additional protection and allows for a more even distribution of seeds across the entire width of the field.

Dosing system

The central metering system is mechanically controlled and adjusted by means of special levers, which allows you to continuously adjust the amount of seed to be sown. This enables high precision to be achieved, regardless of whether small seeds such as rape or larger seeds are being sown.
