According to the information published on the website of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, there have been significant achievements in harvesting early grains, legumes and rapeseed. More than 1 million tons of grain have been harvested on an area of 217.2 thousand hectares, which demonstrates the great amount of work put in by farmers this season.

Based on the latest data, we can emphasize that early grains and pulses were harvested on 168.3 thousand hectares, which is 75.2% of the sown area. We harvested 840.2 thousand tons of grain, with a yield of 51 centners per hectare. These figures are impressive, as this yield level exceeds last year's figure of 164.5 thousand tons as of this date.

It is important to note that agricultural enterprises are the main drivers of successful agricultural activity in Lviv region. Their contribution to the harvested crops is significant - 76.2 thousand hectares, or 70.6% of the total area, is far from being a small figure. They harvested 422.4 thousand tons of grain, with a yield of 55.4 centners per hectare. These impressive figures demonstrate the efficiency and excellence of agricultural practices in Lviv region.

The condition of winter wheat is of great interest. The crop was harvested on an area of 57.9 thousand hectares, which is 80% of the total area, and 333.4 thousand tons of grain were harvested. The yield of 56.7 centners per hectare, down slightly by 4% year-on-year, is a decent result. The highest yields among all districts of the region were shown by farmers in Chervonohrad (60.4 cwt/ha), Sambir (57.4 cwt/ha) and Zolochiv (57.3 cwt/ha) districts.

Technical crops also contributed to the overall harvest. Rapeseed, whether winter or spring, was highly productive. The crop was harvested on 49 thousand hectares, which is 90% of the total area, and 164.1 thousand tons of grain were threshed. These figures demonstrate the important contribution of industrial crops to the agricultural development of the region.

According to Tetyana Getman, Director of the Department of Agricultural Development at Lviv Regional State Administration, this year's success is due to favorable weather, which contributed to a more efficient harvesting process. In addition, the majority of the grain harvested - 72% - is wheat, which has already reached 720 thousand tons, covering both commercial and private sectors.
