The DLG (German Agricultural Society) has officially announced its partnership with the fifth season of the Farming Simulator League, presenting exciting entertainment at Agritechnica-2023. This event is waiting for all video game fans, where they will be able to compete for cash prizes and points in the league, all of which will be live. The main event will be a five-day virtual competition "Bale Stacking Challenge," which will be available to visitors of Agritechnica. The final stage of this exciting tournament is scheduled for November 17 as part of the Agritechnica exhibition itself. In addition, before the main competition, Agritechnica visitors can enter the world of Farming Simulator 22 and take part in the virtual competition "Bale Stacking Challenge" from November 12 to 16.
The news was reported by DLG's press service, emphasizing that Farming Simulator 22 players compete in a realistic simulation created by publisher and developer GIANTS Software. The game recreates various aspects of agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry, with the participation of real machinery, and tournament participants will fight for prizes and points that will allow them to qualify for the Farming Simulator League World Championship in the fifth season with a total prize pool of 200,000 euros.
Timo Zipf, Project Manager at Agritechnica, emphasized that Farming Simulator reflects a realistic side of life for millions of farmers and gives players the opportunity to experience aspects of farming. He noted that the skills needed to succeed in Farming Simulator are often similar to those that farmers use in real life when operating farm equipment. This includes real-time problem solving, applied experience, good reaction time, and excellent hand-eye coordination. And for those who prefer real life and are looking for spare parts for agricultural machinery, we welcome you to the Monosem spare parts section, the Fantini spare parts section and the sections with spare parts for agricultural machinery from other manufacturers.
DLG, the organizer of Agritechnica and official partner of the Farming Simulator League, has allocated pavilion P32 for the Farming Simulator League and Bale Stacking Challenge. The pavilion will provide seats for spectators and will also open up wide opportunities for Farming Simulator fans from all over the world, allowing them to follow the battle of Farming Simulator League teams for a share of the €200,000 prize pool.
The Farming Simulator League started its journey at FarmCon in July 2023, and the Agritechnica tournament is an important step in this competition, which will end next spring season. The best teams that score the most rating points will have a chance to compete for the Farming Simulator League World Champion title.
