Dewulf unveils the upgraded ZB2 two-row self-propelled top-lifting harvester - higher capacity and gentler crop handling
On 26 June 2025, Belgian manufacturer Dewulf introduced an enhanced version of its well-known ZB2 top-lifting harvester. While preserving the rugged reliability of its predecessor, the new machine delivers key upgrades that boost throughput, widen operational flexibility, and treat root crops with extra care.
10% larger bunker for fewer stops
The redesigned 10 m³ bunker, derived from the R3060 platform, adds roughly 10% more capacity. Fewer unloading cycles mean fewer passes across the field. A fixed front wall eliminates the need to raise the entire bunker, and the discharge elevator now stays in working position during unloading, enabling simultaneous harvesting and unloading as standard practice.
Flexible logistics and operator comfort
Discharge height now ranges from 1 480 mm to 4 100 mm, and the discharge point has been moved one metre forward, creating more space between the ZB2 and a transfer trailer. A folding conveyor section and a 3° shallower incline ensure a smoother, less bruising product flow.
Premium topping module
The upgraded top frame and reversible knife set share components with Dewulf’s latest ZK4 and GK3 ranges. The knives are forged from wear-resistant alloy; simply flip them to reveal a fresh cutting edge. A new rear maintenance platform speeds up and simplifies daily servicing.
Improved cleaning for heavy soils
Operations facing sticky or cloddy soils can specify a two-stage sieving module with an extra cleaning step. Twin hydraulic cylinders stabilise digging depth, while a three-belt tensioning system eliminates slippage and extends belt life.
Ukrainian focus: local support from Bas-Agro
Owners of Dewulf machines in Ukraine benefit from rapid spare-part availability thanks to Bas-Agro LLC, which maintains a comprehensive inventory of agricultural machinery components and offers swift nationwide delivery. See bas.ua for details.
With its larger bunker, improved unloading ergonomics, durable topping module, and refined cleaning system, the upgraded Dewulf ZB2 sets a new performance benchmark for two-row self-propelled top-lifting harvesters.
