Lifters for Corn Headers
Lifters for corn headers operate directly in the area where the header contacts the crop, so during the harvesting season they are constantly exposed to mechanical loads, impacts, vibration, and abrasive wear. Over time, individual components may become deformed, damaged, or lose their operating characteristics.
The problem becomes especially significant when the required spare part is unavailable on the market or when delivery takes too long. For an agricultural enterprise during the peak harvesting period, this can mean unwanted machinery downtime.
Bas-Agro LLC offers not only ready-made spare parts for headers, but also manufacturing of components based on a customer’s sample, drawing, or technical specifications. One example of such work is the production of a new lifter for a corn header based on a worn part provided by the customer.
Manufacturing a Corn Header Lifter Based on a Sample
In this case, the customer supplied our company with a lifter that had been used on a corn header for a long period. The component showed clear signs of wear and operation, but its design still allowed it to be used as a sample for manufacturing a new part.
Using the production facilities of Bas-Agro LLC, we manufactured a new lifter for the corn header, reproducing the required design of the component as accurately as possible.
The result can be clearly seen in a short video: the worn sample provided by the customer is shown next to the newly manufactured part.

This example demonstrates how non-standard repair tasks can be solved when the required spare part is difficult to purchase as a ready-made catalogue item.
When Manufacturing a Part from a Sample Is Especially Relevant
Agricultural machinery can remain in operation for decades, while manufacturers’ spare parts ranges gradually change. For certain header models, some components become difficult to find, are discontinued, or are available in Ukraine only by special order.
In such situations, manufacturing a component based on an existing sample can be a practical alternative to a long search for the required spare part.
Manufacturing a spare part for a header may be a suitable solution if:
- the required component is not available from suppliers;
- the original spare part has been discontinued;
- delivery from abroad would take too long;
- the machinery must be restored before or during the harvesting season;
- a physical sample of the damaged or worn component is available;
- the customer has a drawing or the main technical dimensions of the part;
- replacing an entire assembly is economically unreasonable when only one component has failed.
Each such order is evaluated individually. Before production begins, it is necessary to assess the design, geometry, material, and technological feasibility of manufacturing the component correctly.
In-House Spare Parts Manufacturing at Bas-Agro LLC
One of the advantages of Bas-Agro LLC is the combination of ready-made spare parts sales with our own manufacturing capabilities.
This is particularly important when repairing agricultural machinery, because not every problem can be solved simply by ordering a catalogue part. In some cases, an individual approach is required: manufacturing an equivalent component, machining, restoring a worn element, or producing a new part based on a supplied sample.
Our company performs various types of metalworking and manufactures components for agricultural machinery. The technical feasibility of each specific order is determined after the part or drawing has been evaluated.
Corn Header Spare Parts in Stock
Manufacturing a part from a sample is not required in every case. A wide range of header spare parts is already available from Bas-Agro LLC, and many items are kept in stock.
Our catalogue includes components for the repair and maintenance of headers from various manufacturers and for different machinery models.

Having ready-made spare parts in stock helps reduce repair time and return machinery to operation faster. For agricultural businesses, this is especially important during harvesting, when even several days of downtime can negatively affect the pace and efficiency of field operations.
Header Spare Parts: Ready-Made or Custom-Manufactured
Bas-Agro LLC customers therefore have two main options for solving their repair needs.
The first is to purchase a ready-made spare part if the required item is listed in the catalogue and available in stock.
The second is to contact us regarding custom manufacturing if the required spare part is unavailable but a sample, drawing, or sufficient technical information is available.
This approach expands the possibilities for repairing corn headers and other harvesting equipment, including machinery for which individual components have become difficult to source on the market.
Delivery of Header Spare Parts Across Ukraine
Bas-Agro LLC works with agricultural enterprises, farms, service companies, and owners of agricultural machinery throughout Ukraine.
We deliver spare parts to any city in Ukraine. Orders can be placed remotely, while the required catalogue items can be selected directly on our website.
If a non-standard component is required, customers can provide our specialists with a sample, drawing, photographs, or technical information for a preliminary assessment of manufacturing feasibility.
