Case IH Steiger 785 Quadtrac: a new flagship with 853 hp peak power

Case IH has unveiled the most powerful tractor in its lineup — the Steiger 785 Quadtrac. The model adds nearly 10% more power versus the Steiger 715 Quadtrac and had its first public showing at the Farm Progress Show. The goal is to handle the heaviest tillage and seeding implements with maximum productivity during tight fieldwork windows.

Power and drawbar performance

1. Rated power — 785 hp, peak — up to 853 hp (at 1,900 rpm). Torque rise of 40% lets you pull wider implements or maintain working speed under load without bogging down.
2. To transfer power to the ground more effectively, an optional heavy-duty suspended Quadtrac undercarriage is available: smoother ride, higher drawbar pull and better flotation to reduce soil compaction. A longer track footprint increases contact patch, traction and maneuverability.

Precision farming & connectivity — with no subscriptions

The Steiger 785 Quadtrac ships with Connectivity Included — an integrated connected ecosystem with no subscriptions, enabling automated control features and agronomic data services. Key capabilities include AccuTurn™ Pro (headland autotransitions/auto-turns), AccuSync™ (machine-to-machine coordination in the field) and the FieldOps™ platform for data collection and analysis. Two technology packages (Core/Advanced) are offered, featuring the Pro 1200 display and Vector Pro receiver (AFS 1/3 or High with NTRIP for 3 years), plus options such as Multi-swath Line Splitting, Advanced Section Control and Active Implement Guidance. Warranty — 3 years or 2,000 hours.

Ergonomics and serviceability

• Service points are placed within easy reach: power-assisted hood, access door to the engine-oil dipstick, service door to the air filter, clear sight glasses for quick fluid checks, and removable debris screens — no tools required.
• Three lighting packages are available for improved night visibility.

Fuel capacity for long shifts

A 520-gallon (≈1,968 L) fuel tank extends intervals between refueling — critical when every hour in the field counts.

The Steiger 785 Quadtrac targets large and very large operations, ag holdings and service providers working with the heaviest implements: deep tillage, heavy cultivators, wide seeding systems/air seeders, deep plows, and large grain carts (auger wagons).
