AMAZONE ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread

German company AMAZONE has unveiled a innovation in agricultural technology – the ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread fertiliser spreader, setting new standards in precision and automation for mineral fertiliser application. After years of development and successful testing on over 100,000 hectares, this innovation opens a new era in agricultural practice.

AutoSpread Technology: The Self-Adjusting Spreader

The uniqueness of the ZA-TS 01 lies in the revolutionary AutoSpread technology, which for the first time in history implements autonomous adjustment of the fertiliser spreader. The system measures the actual flight trajectory of fertiliser granules in real time and automatically adjusts settings to achieve optimal distribution. This means that the operator no longer needs to manually configure the equipment for each fertiliser type or field conditions.

Previously existing systems, such as ArgusTwin, could only measure the spreading direction. AutoSpread takes the next step – additional radar sensors allow determining not only the direction but also the flight distance of granules, providing a complete picture of the actual spreading trajectory. In fact, the ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread transforms into a mobile testing station that constantly monitors and corrects the spreader's operation directly in the field.

Technology Integration and Artificial Intelligence

AutoSpread integrates all previously developed innovative AMAZONE solutions: HeadlandControl for working at field boundaries, WindControl for compensating wind influence, and Section Control for differential application. Now these systems don't just work in parallel, but interact optimally through AutoSpread, creating a unified precision farming ecosystem.

Thanks to online connection to the AMAZONE Spreader Application Center (SAC) via the AmaConnect platform, the spreader receives a digital twin of each fertiliser. An artificial intelligence-based algorithm constantly compares actual data with reference characteristics and validates application quality in real time. The system can detect incorrect settings and automatically correct them, as well as warn about spreading blade wear even before it affects fertiliser distribution quality.

Innovative Software

The new ZA-TS 01 is equipped with completely redesigned software featuring an intuitive interface in a modern design. Particularly noteworthy are the updated border spreading system and the integration of CurveControl technology.

The border spreading system now works extremely simply: just enter the desired distance to the field boundary, and the spreader automatically calculates all necessary settings. The software distinguishes three types of border spreading: side, border, and watercourse spreading. For each situation, the system automatically selects optimal parameters, ensuring legally compliant fertilisation.

The integrated BorderTS system with an electric deflector drive allows even more precise work directly at field boundaries. The deflector is easily activated from the terminal and directs the fertiliser flow into the spreading fan, ensuring perfect distribution even in edge zones.

CurveControl: Precision on Turns

CurveControl technology, which received a silver medal at the Agritechnica exhibition, is now fully integrated into the ZA-TS 01 Ultra. A sensor mounted on the spreader detects acceleration and rotational movement of the machine, correcting the delivery point and metering shutter in real time.

This is especially important because the spreading distance can reach twice the working width, and the spreading fan has a kidney shape. On turns, this can lead to fertiliser being thrown beyond the field boundary. CurveControl prevents both over-application and under-application of fertiliser, minimising the risk of fertiliser falling outside the plot.

Automatic Documentation and Quality Control

The system automatically documents the entire fertilisation process, recording changes in working width and compliance with legal fertiliser application standards near water bodies. During work at field boundaries, the working width not only changes but is also correctly displayed in the GPS view and documented. If the working width decreases by 3 metres on the boundary side, this is automatically displayed on the application map.

In combination with AmaTron 4, rotational movement is precisely recorded, ensuring uniform map coverage without unwanted white zones. This increases the reliability of Section Control operation and prevents unintentional opening of metering shutters.

Reliability and Efficiency

Constant validation of the spreading trajectory through AutoSpread significantly reduces the need for spreader testing in field conditions. Whereas previously application quality checks were conducted selectively using manual test kits, AutoSpread now provides continuous monitoring. This not only saves time but also guarantees maximum reliability of the fertilisation process.

The system can detect worn or damaged disc blades even before this leads to deviations in the spreading trajectory. When anomalies are detected, AutoSpread automatically suggests conducting a check using the EasyCheck digital mobile test kit, which is now conveniently placed in integrated transport boxes on the spreader itself.

The Importance of Quality Spare Parts for Fertiliser Spreaders

The effective operation of any fertiliser spreader, including the most modern models, directly depends on the condition of its components. Spreader blades are the most heavily loaded part, subject to constant wear due to intensive work with abrasive materials. Timely replacement of worn blades is the key to uniform fertiliser application and maximum return on equipment investment.

BAS-Agro LLC: Quality Spare Parts for Your Equipment

Ukrainian company BAS-Agro LLC specialises in manufacturing and selling high-quality blades for fertiliser spreaders of various world brands. The company produces aftermarket spare parts that match original components in quality but are offered at a more affordable price. The warehouse constantly stocks blades compatible with spreaders from leading manufacturers: Gaspardo, Kverneland, SOLA, UNIA, Bogballe, Kuhn, Sulky, and many others https://bas.ua/en/shop/spare-parts-for-fertilizer-spreaders-000000046-1.

The mission of BAS-Agro is to produce the highest quality BAS components to increase the efficiency of agricultural equipment operation, using the principles of affordability, reliability, and impeccable reputation. The company operates on modern equipment in Ukraine, ensuring stable product quality and fast spare parts delivery throughout the country – from Odessa to Kharkiv, from Lviv to Dnipro.

Individual Approach and Wide Range

In addition to standard blades, BAS-Agro accepts orders for manufacturing any other parts for mineral and organic fertiliser spreaders according to customer samples or drawings. This includes drive shafts, protective rings, plates, cardan tubes, and couplings for spreaders of the most famous brands. Thus, even if you work with rare equipment models or need a specific part, BAS-Agro specialists can help.

Aftermarket part numbers match the catalogue numbers of original spare parts, significantly simplifying the selection and ordering process. Customers can place orders through the convenient online store at bas.ua or receive professional consultation from company specialists by phone.

Prospects and Availability

The ZA-TS 01 Ultra will initially be available in limited quantities with hopper capacities of 4,200 and 5,000 litres. Full market launch in all configurations is planned for 2027. The spreader is capable of working with working widths up to 54 metres and speeds up to 30 km/h, providing application rates up to 650 kg per minute.

"The ZA-TS 01 combines precision application, automation, and digital control, opening a new era of accuracy and efficiency in agricultural production," the company AMAZONE noted.

Remember: coordinated operation of the fertiliser spreader is extremely important, as the final result of farm operations depends on timely and accurate fertiliser application. Take care of replacement parts for your agricultural equipment in advance by choosing quality components from trusted manufacturers.
