The new Cirrus 9004-2C Grand trailed seed drill from AMAZONE is expanding the range of high-performance seed drills. This agricultural machine has a working width of 9 meters and a row spacing of 16.6 centimeters.
As standard, the Cirrus 9004-2C Grand is equipped with a two-section hopper divided in a 60:40 ratio. The total hopper volume of 5,750 liters is optimized for the use of big bags, providing sufficient storage for efficient operation. This simplifies the logistics of seed, allowing for flexible scheduling of filling times.
The two-section hopper allows for separate metering of different types of seed and fertilizer. Optionally, both sections of the hopper can be filled with the same material, ensuring efficient distribution.
The possibility of loading the machine with small telescopic loaders allows you to significantly reduce the width of the load by folding it on one side.
The materials from the two hopper sections are fed through a single feed line and placed in the seed furrow on the same level using Single-Shot technology. The new distributor head ensures optimum lateral distribution and high stability by saving seed and fertilizer. This reduces the overlap area to less than 1%.
Bas-Agro Group LLC supplies original spare parts for seeders, as well as analogs of its own production.
When closing individual rows, the speed of rotation of the metering devices is reduced, which allows for efficient use of seed without loss. The precision system also prevents the seed from being blown out of the seed furrow.
To achieve uniform germination, precise placement at the required depth is essential. The TwinTeC plus double disc coulter ensures smooth running even at high ground speeds thanks to its large diameter and pressure of up to 100 kg. The electro-hydraulic remote control of coulter pressure and sowing depth allows the machine to be quickly adapted to different soil conditions.
AMAZONE's successful strip reconsolidation concept is also used in the Cirrus 04. The areas where the seed is to be placed are strip-compacted to ensure optimum gas exchange and rapid soil moisture penetration.
The individual wheel suspension on the Cirrus 9004-2C Grand contributes to the maneuverability of the machine in different parts of the field, providing low-force cornering and maneuvering in angular areas. Each wheel can flexibly adapt the speed and direction of travel when turning up to 90°, which guarantees a high-quality seedbed and optimal working conditions.
The machine can also be combined with various pre-sowing implements, such as the Catros compact disc harrow, to create the ideal conditions for plant growth.
To summarize, the new Cirrus 9004-2C Grand trailed seed drill from AMAZONE offers a high level of performance and flexibility for a wide variety of farming tasks. With its advanced features and technology, it delivers precision, efficiency and user comfort, contributing to optimal conditions for plant growth.
