On November 12, 2023, the grand opening of Agritechnica-2023, the world's largest international agricultural machinery exhibition, took place in Hanover, Germany. This is a significant event, as the exhibition is being held for the first time since 2019, and marks the end of a three-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Now the exhibition impresses with a record number of participants - 2800 exhibitors, and expects more than 400 thousand visitors over seven working days.

Geopolitical turbulence, including military conflicts started by Russia, is affecting the main strategies of agricultural production. The European Green Deal limits the choice of agricultural inputs, and interest rate policy requires forward-looking investment planning. Climate change is also jeopardizing traditional production processes. Dr. Lothar Hövelmann, CEO of DLG (German Agricultural Society), the organizer of Agritechnica, noted that these challenges can only be met through ingenuity and innovation.

This year, the exhibition will focus on new national stands, including the National Stand of Ukraine. In total, 16 Ukrainian companies are represented at Agritechnica-2023, which demonstrates the country's active participation in the global agrotechnical community.
