Agbot is an agricultural robot from AgXeed and Massey Ferguson
The Netherlands is preparing to demonstrate the latest agricultural technologies. The city of Dronten will host the presentation of the modernized multifunctional Agbot 2.055W4, which was developed by AgXeed in cooperation with the well-known Massey Ferguson brand.
According to Trekker Online, this advanced agricultural robot is now compatible with a variety of agricultural equipment, including traditional windrowers, mowers, and even lawn mowers. This greatly expands its functionality and applications.
The event in Dronten promises to be a grand one: 39 different forage harvesting machines will be demonstrated in real field conditions. Particular attention will be drawn to an innovative autonomous system consisting of an AgXeed robot and a Massey Ferguson single-rotor windrower.
The updated version of the Agbot 2.055W4 impresses with its versatility. The four-wheeled design with wide tires allows you to adjust the track width from 1.5 to 3 meters. The machine can be equipped with 270 mm or 710 mm tires, which ensures optimal adaptation to different types of soil. Spare parts for agricultural machinery from the manufacturer can be purchased on our official website of Bas-Agro Group LLC.
The heart of the agricultural robot is a powerful 2.9-liter diesel-electric engine that generates 55 kW (73 hp). Electricity from the generator powers the front and rear wheels, ensuring efficient movement of the machine.
Technical characteristics of Agbot 2.055W4:
- - the front hitch is capable of lifting up to 1.5 tons;
- rear hitch - up to 4 tons.
The robot is equipped with three hydraulic outputs and supports the ISOBUS protocol, which makes it compatible with a wide range of attachments.
Despite its 55 kW (73 hp) power, the unit is relatively lightweight - only 3.2 tons. This makes it a versatile assistant for a variety of agricultural tasks, from tillage to mowing and cultivation.
This development demonstrates how modern technology is transforming agriculture, increasing efficiency and reducing the burden on farmers. The presentation of the Agbot 2.055W4 in Droningen will undoubtedly be an important event for the agricultural sector, opening up new horizons of automation and productivity in agriculture.
