A residue row cleaner compatible with MONOSEM planters is now available for order:

Assembly type: Complete row cleaner
Purpose: Before the opener cuts the furrow, aggressive star-shaped discs sweep aside crop residue, clods and soil chunks to create a clean seedbed and keep seeding depth uniform.

The unit fits Monosem precision planters such as NG, NC, NG Plus, Precision, and other models.

Compatible planter platforms

  • NG Plus 4 / 4E / NG Plus M (Monoshox) / NG Plus 3, 4, 6
  • 4-, 6-, 8-, 12- and 16-row frames
  • Twin-row and narrow-row planters (Yetter 2967-003 adapters if required)

Typically installed as a pair—left-hand 64029202 and right-hand 64029201—together with a quick down-pressure adjustment bracket.

 

Selection & maintenance tips

StepCheck
1. Row spacing45–80 cm: use the standard Monosem carrier. For Twin-Row (2 × 19 cm) choose narrower cleaners like Yetter 2967-003 or Martin C125 L/R
2. Tooth wearWhen tooth length is reduced by ≥ 25 %, seed “undercutting” risk rises—replace both discs
3. BearingsEvery 100 ha inject 2–3 ml of LSC-3 grease via the zerk; replace the bearing if play > 0.5 mm
4. ParallelismAfter mounting, align the cleaner disc centre with the opener axis (tolerance ± 3 mm)
