Agritechnica 2023 summary

Agritechnica 2023, the world's largest agricultural machinery exhibition, has ended in Hannover, Germany, and was held for the first time since 2019. This year, the event saw a record number of visitors - 470,000 people from 149 countries. In addition, a record number of participants presented their developments at the exhibition - 2,812 exhibitors from 52 countries, who filled 24 halls of the exhibition complex. This was reported by the organizers of the exhibition in their final report.

The DLG (German Agricultural Society), which organizes Agritechnica, chose the leading theme "Green Productivity" for this major international trade fair for agricultural machinery. Around 400 experts took part in the Agritechnica technical program, presenting more than 300 professional events and providing answers to the pressing questions of the future, highlighting the topics of productivity and resource conservation on a global level.

Agritechnica 2023 attracted a total of 470,000 visitors from 149 countries. Approximately two-thirds of them were from Germany. Of the international visitors, 84% came from Europe and 16% from other regions, including Central and South America. The growth of international participation was confirmed both among exhibitors and visitors. International Farmers' Day, which took place on Tuesday, was a special event for farmers from France and Poland. Guests from these countries took advantage of free admission and a specialized program conducted in their native languages, which attracted a significant number of agricultural professionals.

With its numerous award-winning innovations and concepts, Agritechnica 2023 identified important areas for launching new products and affordable solutions. For the latest developments, 251 products competed in the Agritechnica Innovation Award competition, while future concepts were recognized in the DLG-Agrifuture Concept Winner 2023 category. The Systems & Components Trophy emphasized the important role of suppliers in the agricultural machinery sector as a driver of innovation.
